KIASWA Conducts Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) Training
KIASWA Initiative held a Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) training to equip Trans and female sex workers with the skills to oversee and monitor the medical services delivered to them. CLM puts the community at the centre of accountability — beneficiaries themselves track service quality, flag gaps, and push for improvements at facility and county level.
The training reinforced KIASWA’s belief that “Sex Workers Rights are Women Rights, Women Rights are Human Rights.” Participants learned how to document service delivery, engage health providers constructively, and feed findings into the county’s key-population programming and the 90-90-90 HIV cascade.
