Sensitizing Police and Law Enforcement on the Rights of Sex Workers

Led by Advocate and Founder Melba Katindi, KIASWA Initiative held sensitization workshops targeting police officers and county law enforcement on human rights as they pertain to sex workers. The sessions tackled stigma, unlawful arrests and violence, and built a shared understanding of the legal protections owed to every person This structural advocacy work moves rights from paper into the daily reality of the streets and stations where our community is most exposed.
